"Love has a hem to her garment,
That reaches the very dust.
It sweeps the stains from the streets and lanes,
and because it can, it must."
-Mother Teresa
So now that that is explained, this is officially my first blog. Project 365 has inspired me. For those of you who don't know what it is, you basically take a picture every day for a year. It's Jan. 2nd so I have some catching up to do. This should be an interesting year though; I'm graduating from college in May so all my pictures should give some insight into a very important transition time in my life! I'm really excited about this project 365 thing, I hope whoever takes the time to read this enjoys it as much as I will! That reaches the very dust.

It's one of my favorite poems, if you are able to do something like helping someone I believe you have a responsibility to do it.
Okay so here goes...

So for my first one I had to choose between pictures of some of my favorite people playing risk and this one. We brought in the new year with a good ol' viscous game of risk. Okay it wasn't that bad. Anyway, you can see this picture won...
I could almost swear that when you are sleeping, if you have a gnome, they will come to life and cut your hair or destroy your property or something of the sort. You should be warned, do not get a gnome, they are evil. Of course, Luke Skywalker seeks to destroy evil so here you have it... Death to the Gnomes!

This is my front yard. That white stuff is, you guessed it, snow!!! I love winter! I also thought this picture was appropriate for today because it shows my driveway and I took a very loooong road trip: McCreary co, then Grensburg, then Louisville.
Do you ever really dread going somewhere and then when you get there you're glad you're there? Well that happens to me a lot, especially when it comes to seeing family. I'm spending the week in Louisville, so we'll see how it goes. :) Until tomorrow!!
